Despite declining audience numbers

Over the course of three seasons The bear is undoubtedly one of the most acclaimed series on televisionwhich regularly cooks up intense culinary and family dramas to combine with its comedic elements. Season 1 has a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, coupled with a strong 92% audience score, and cleaned up at the Emmys, where it curiously competed in the Comedy category and won the Outstanding Comedy Series award, with White, Moss-Bachrach and Edebiri winning for their outstanding performances.

Season 2 was similarly strong, achieving a near-perfect 99% rating from critics and a 92% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. After The bear Season 2 ended with numerous cliffhangers, and audience interest was higher than ever before. A year later, viewers tuned in to the season three premiere to see the aftermath of Carmy’s inadvertent breakup with Claire, his falling out with Richie, and the fate of the restaurant moving forward. This, along with the fact that the show swept the Emmys, was the main reason the season three premiere broke records on Hulu.

Why The Bear Season 3’s Rotten Tomatoes Audience Rating Is So Low Compared to Critics and the Last Two Seasons

The audience rating of The Bear Season 4 on Rotten Tomatoes is significantly lower than that of critics and previous seasons, making one wonder what went wrong

But the audience’s reaction to The bear Season 3 was different. Critical reaction remains enthusiastic, reaching 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, although the audience score has dropped drastically to 58% from over 500 at the time of writing. The reason for this seems to be the slower pace of Season 3, coupled with the fact that it was largely seen as a set-up for The bear Season 4. Still, Season 3 remains compelling and well-made television and undoubtedly deserves to be Hulu’s biggest premiere ever.
