“Either I win the Tour or not, and then there will be another one next year” – Primož Roglič sees the Tour de France in the long term

Primož Roglič has dismissed any notion that this year’s Tour de France could be his last realistic chance of victory when he takes on Tadej Pogačar, Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel with his new team Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe.

The 34-year-old is taking part in the Tour for the seventh time in his career and will be up against three major rivals, each with an obstacle to overcome. Pogačar is riding his second Grand Tour of the year, Vingegaard is in doubt about his recovery from the crash in Itzulia Basque Country and Evenepoel is doubtful about his ability to win on his debut.
